Benefits of Exercise

The obesity is taking place in our world very rapidly. Everyone wants to look himself fit and smart. But alas, very few take step for combating from obesity. Daily exercise is the ultimate solution for combating from obesity and laziness. The exercise keeps one smart and fit for a long time. It is of such significance that one should decide for not leaving it throughout his whole life. Our youth seems to flee away from doing exercise. The main reason for this distance comes to mind is using smart phones and gadgets like lap tops etc. These engagements have taken them very far from the exercises. For those folks, I am mentioning some benefits of doing exercise.

1. Controlling the weight:  Daily exercise controls the weight as by exercise calories burn and fat gets reduced and body remains in shape.

2.  Exercise fights against diseases: One who exercises daily, gets increase in high-density Lipoprotein (HDL) or good cholesterol and decreases the triglycerides or bad fats. So, due to regular exercises, one gets strong enough for resisting against diseases.

3.  Exercise as a tool for improving mood:  The chores of daily routine make one tired and tensed. So, exercise enhances the brain chemicals which changes the moods and gets one feel good and refreshed. Furthermore, the exercise makes one feel a lot of confidence which comes due to looking a good shape of body.

4.  Exercise brings energy: After getting tired from hectic routine of daily chores, when one feels very exhausted, exercise gets him energized. Usually, it is understood that after tiredness, no physical activity can bring energy back. But very strangely, exercise transforms one into more energized person even after passing through a hectic routine.

5.  Exercise bestows a good sleep: Exercise gives a good sleep to that person, who performs it regularly. It is the outcome of exercise that it gives a sound sleep to those who exercise daily.

6.  Exercise is a social activity: Usually, exercise is carried out in public places like in parks and gyms, which give people an opportunity to meet with others. And these meetings give a sense of freshness and one feels very good in his inner-self.

Along with them, the most important reason for muslims to do exercise is that, it is one of main duty of a muslim to keep himself fit enough to perform his religious responsibilities. So, if any muslim who aims to do exercises to keep himself fit for fulfilling religious responsibilities, Allah gives him a good return for it ultimately in this life and the life hereinafter.

Waste of Time

Time is the most precious thing in world which Allah has given to every human being equally. Nobody can complain that he has given less than twenty-four hours. It depends on us that how we spend it. Either we waste it or make it worth-full. Usually, most of us keep busy to ourselves mentally in considering either what we had lost in past or worrying about we have to face in future. Due to living in these two worlds, we find ourselves totally aloof in present. This condition of self-imposition of aloofness does not let us think of present at all. We keep busy in lamenting, instead of taking some actions in present which may ultimately affect the future. Through this way, decades of decades are wasted. It starts in such a way that one regrets on what one has lost in near past and in this way he keeps wasting time in present. Although, through making this time useful, one could amend some mishaps which had occurred in past. But, he does not give any attention on the time passing on. And through this way when that time passes, he starts crying for the loss of that time and it makes a chain and connecting to one another. A huge amount of time becomes having wasted. So, what is the best strategy to avoid this practice is to stop thinking abruptly about past's losses and future's fears. Fitzgerald translated couplets of Umer Khayyam in following way.

Come with old Khayyam and leave the wise
One  thing    is    certain   that  life     flies
One      thing   is     certain  other  is   lies
The flower   once  has  blown, forever dies

In these couplets poet gives the resemblance to flower with the present time, which is destined to fade finally. So, wise is one who recognizes the importance of present and does not let the flower of "Present" fade anymore carelessly.

A Journey to Islamabad

After a long time, I think after one decade, we went for travel to up country. The reason was that two days leaves which were of 25th December coming along with 12th Rabiul Aual coming on 24th December and both were accordingly on Thursday and Friday and saturday and sunday also are treated as holiday. So, it was looking four big days vacation and the coming monday was going to be added in this big vacation. So, my nephew made a up country trip to avail these detailed "told" vacations. I was not agreed with his plan as my young daughters are very little and find their relief nowhere but in my laps. Usually, they keep clinging with me as long as they face any discomfort. A true horrible picture was depicted before me that in the whole travel I would have to lift them on my lap and I could imagine my waist transforming into wooden raft. Anyway, from pressure of the people around me I agreed to travel with them. We made reservation in train before the travel to avoid any botheration in travel. At last the day came when we had to leave home for travel. It was midnight when we woke up and prepared to children and got them wore the clothes for saving them from chilly winds. It was 4:45 when we left home in hired van which was two times returned back to home due to forgetting some important things at home. I made me very tensed and when we finally went for railway station we had only forty five minutes to pick the train at City railway station. I forced many times to driver for increasing speed. So, we reached before ten minutes train started. The train left at 5.35 and we have already set in our compartment and placed our luggages into it and also covered it with bed sheets as to prevent it from invading of any strange passengers. We had two compartments one of them was completely ours where in second one, we had eighty percent possession. Train started to run and crossed the city while sun was rising. It was a very good experience to see rising sun from running train. When we become well-acquainted with the train then we opened our breakfast boxes and distributed edible items to participants of this travel and enjoyed it most and it was decided to take tea when we would reach to Hyderabad. At Hyderabad, tea was taken and all of us were busy in looking outside the sceneries were visible from the windows of train. I sat on the seat having window in front of my niece’s one who had the same facility of window for looking outside. I used to inform her about the crops which were coming in the fields thereon. Doing such activities, at last we reached to our destination which was Rawalpindi railway station. Where, my brother was to come and he was late and taking that opportunity we went to wash our mouths and utilized the washrooms and corrected our appearances and got fresh. About one hour passed, my elder brother came along with van, who was there for his office work. We all sat in and went to rest house in Islamabad. Where our two rooms were reserved and we decided to allocate one for male members while remaining one was for female members. After keeping our luggage, we were asked to come for lunch. After lunch, we got ready for going to Monal- a picnic place in Islamabad over some height. The road leading to Monal was full of very dangerous turnings. There, I realized that the driver should be very experienced and attentive otherwise accident will take no time to happen. Luckily, our driver had the both qualities and was driving dexterously on steeper roads.  Anyway, we reached there few minutes before sun set. The view of Islamabad city from there was very beautiful. We felt there much cold as compared to Islamabad's. There were restaurants looked hung in mountains and giving a very pleasant look to their viewers. We took many pictures there and on returning back went to Faisal Mosque. After seeing mosque, we went for dinner to a restaurant and then got back to our rest house. Next day was Friday, when we planned to go to Murree, at the way of Murree, we changed our plan and went to see Patriata. First we took our breakfast there. Then we arranged tickets for chair lifts. But we did not dare to stand on queue and returned our tickets as there were more than three hundred people waiting for their ride in the queue. Had we ridden on lift chairs then we would have consumed our whole day there. So, we picked the way of Murree. But alas, there was no snow in Murree, which we had travelled for. The participants of our tour were little bit disappointed, but I was thanking to Allah, and known it good as my little children might have suffered from cold. So, for killing the time, we searched for a reasonable restaurant to have our lunch and some fellows headed for window shopping. I also asked prices of dry fruits. But, their quality and price could not satisfy me and I refrained of shopping and used to enjoy looking shops there. After having couple of hours in said activities, we returned back to Islamabad. The coming day was our last day of journey. We had to pick train at 5:00. So, we rose early and got prepared and went to see Lok Wirsa. A great surprise enveloped me when I entered in its building. As it was looking like a fairy land where we had entered in. In the exterior part of premises, were modals of anciently used ships, being art-piece trucks, bull carts, primitive wooden doors with artisan work etc. While in building there were wax modals defining some historical events which were related to our history like Allama Iqbal's performing prayer in Qurtuba Mosque, Qaid-e-Azam attending first assembly session and his attending in inaugurating ceremony of State Bank and like same were placed there. Along with them, there were cultures of some countries like, Turkey, Saudi Arabia China were presented in shape of modals. Our hearts did not want to leave that place so quickly but we didn't have much time and we had to go to Pakistan Monument which was made at the place of Shakar Pirhyan. This is a circled building having a large floor fenced by walls from where Islamabad city’s buildings look easily. The visitors were busy in snatching photos of sceneries which were visible around that round wall and taking the benefit of its large floor, my daughters started running wildly and I was following them to letting them not to have any harm in case of falling on floor. The people walking there enjoyed very much that scene of chase-up. After sometime we moved to a building which was made as some kind of museum, and was full of modals and pictures about independence movement, culture and geography of Pakistan. It was very informative especially for children.  I made my elder daughter catch attention about the details of the pictures thereupon. She also showed great interest in these pictorial informations and I also motivated her to write an essay about whatever she had seen there. Two schools had also brought their students there on study trip as the students were being recognized by their uniforms. Looking those things, time spent so quickly that we had to leave that place hurriedly. We rushed to our hotel and decided to have lunch from the hotel near the station as to save time which was going to shrink quickly. So, we searched a hotel and ordered for lunch in near of railway station. But much time passed and lunch could be served to us then we ordered to pack the food and run for catching the train. The train was ready to start and said good-bye to my elder brother whom had to pick the plane for reaching Karachi. Anyway, we repeated all activities which once I had noted about the travel of coming to Islamabad. At last, we reached to our destination at next day night at 10:00 p.m. which was promised arrival time of our train at Karachi Cant. Station where my elder brother was there again to receive us and we reached to our home and our pleasure trip ended happily.

True observation about Holy Quran reciting

Recitation of Holy Quran has many benefits. Daily recitation of Holy Quran brings blessings in home and makes evils run away from that place where it is recited. It is also a best source for supplying goodness to the dead parents. The recitation works like food for dead ones which they wait for. These are the common benefits which must be in the knowledge of many Muslims. Today, I want to share my own experience with the readers about a special benefit what I acknowledged by reciting Holy Quran what I have been keeping in my daily routine for last five years.  From the very starting of my academic activities being a regular student, I faced concentration problem on studies. In details, whenever I tried to study, my mind started wandering and at that time no information looked to go inside the brain for memorizing and this situations finally made me throw away the books even during exam days. This condition affected bitterly on results and did not let the goods marks come. This situation followed me throughout my academic tenure which was destined to graduation and on that pinnacle I reached about quarter century ago.  After a long gap, I ventured for getting enrolled myself in further studies last year and started my studies once again. At the very beginning, I came across that I was encountering no more any type of distraction which was lamented in this writing earlier. I took it as a blessing and involved in my exam’s preparation. But, due to bad past experiences, I was thinking that when exam would come nearer to me I must have to face the problems again.   But, no problem of such kind could bother me at all and I did preparation with ease and calmness. As I had done a good preparation, so I enjoyed my exams and attempted them with full courage. When exams were over, I used to think over this change and finally excavated the idea that it was due to recitation of Holy Quran.  The main purpose of telling this saga is to bring in readers’ notice that if they recite Holy Quran daily they must be benefited such kind of blessings which were described here along with other benefits.

A true insight

I was searching in my e-mail account that how many peoples were requesting to be my friend. Where I found one of my ex-office colleague, when I worked in a software house. The software house was closing its operation in Karachi and taking some staff to America while other staff were being fired. My colleague was also among those fortunate people who were being taken to America while among other people, I was dismissed. In short, I opened his Facebook account and viewed the pictures attached there. In pictures, he was camping in a park, seeing that I was very sad that if I had been offered job in America, I would have also been enjoying there like those people. I remained whole day in this gloom, but at night when I was going to pray, a new thought came to my mind that OK. I would have been making fun there, but in return I would have to leave my mom here in karachi over others. And I think that those people could have not taken care of her as much as I could have. And finally, my mom was died in year 2012, and in this period, when I would be there in USA. And I am dam sure that, I would have been blaming to myself for going to America for the cost of my mom’s life. So, I thanked to God, that He kept me along with my mom at her last time and I should not be regretful for not having gone to America.

Reading Books

I think when I was as young as five years, I started reading books. In our neighborhood, there was a young boy who in his home keeping empty fruit box upside down used to give little story books on fare which I started to take. On that time, the fare was so cheap as one ana (six paisas) which were closed later on because Govt. has ended the use of Annas. Anyway, I come to the matter, from there I started reading books. My first read books’ measurement were only five inches square comprising not more than ten pages. They were all about jinn’s and magicians who used to keep in prison to beautiful princesses which were released by strange princes or other poor lumberjacks and usually in ends they lived happily after marriage. This type of book reading ran for two years and after them I started reading Naunehal—a child digest, which was the best magazine which can be read in juvenile age. I got lot of benefits from this magazine and my general knowledge increased at a par level. During this period, in my school, I used to participate in quiz programs and most often I used to win and received prizes. This period ran as long as I came to ninth class, I started reading detective novels, they broadened my thoughts and that time they had much fascination for me. When I came in college I started to read Imran Series which were also detective type novels. I loved to read these novels so much that due to them, I did not give due attentions to my valued studies and did not get selected for any good professional careers. But those novels laid a good impact on my life too, as from that time when I was seventeen years old I started physical exercises which kept me in best shape albeit now I am in my early forties. Like the hero of novel – Imran, I tried to become multifaceted personality, now I can do easily mechanical works like repairing of electrical appliances and in the same way I have the flair of literature reading and also love to do figure works like accounting and involving into the data base related works which are also parts of my current profession. Anyway, when I came in my graduation, I started reading pure literature works like novels, pros and poems of famous writers which created depth in my thoughts and broadened my intellectual faculties. After diving few years into literature, I started to read religious books which even now are in my practice, they laid a great impact on me and I think that I have been on track of true knowledge and they are making me think that life is going to its end and due to that thought, I seem to be a stranger in this world. This attitude gave me a great relief and I do not take any body’s comments and misbehaving about myself seriously and left to become angry and sad. So, this was my whole travel of reading as from which stages my reading passed and now where it lies.

Getting Rid of Tension

Everyone now-a-days is stuck into the tension. People have many types of tensions. Someone have issues about their health, income, job security and other issues. It is noted that every person lives either into the past or in future. The present is totally ignored by us. The important remedy is that one should be in the present state, as the present state makes you not go into the period other than the present. One should think that whatever has passed it can not be come back and what is to come it will come whatever a person does. So, why should one think over these period. One should remain in present which is passing by. If one remain in present, he will make his life more cheerful and good and could get the maximum result from the efforts which he makes today.
